Ink Review #392: Tono & Lims Basketball

Today we will be reviewing limited edition Tono & Lims inks. These inks are typically available at pen shows but I purchased samples off from Shigure Inks.

Swabs:

This ink had medium shading and green sheen. The color is burnt orange. It is similar to Robert Oster Burnt Orange but is a few shades darker, with brown undertones.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

Tsubame Note Ink Collection Card

This ink had a long dry time at 50 seconds and low water resistance.

Writing Sample:

This ink had an average flow. The sheen gives this ink an interesting color ; it’s not often that I see orange and green mixed together.

Overall: Basketball is a brown-orange with great shading and sheen.
