Today we will be reviewing Cross Red. This company was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1846.

This ink had an average dry time of 20 seconds and low water resistance.

This ink had an average saturation and flow.
Overall: Cross Red is a bright orange-red with a smooth flow.

Cross inks used to be relabelled Pelikan 4001 inks, but I believe that's no longer the case. In the ink swatches Cross red looks a bit more saturated and less orange than the Pelikan 4001 red on my monitor, but all these bright orange-reds seem fairly similar to me.
