Ink Review #645: Diamine 150th Anniversary Edition Silver Fox

Today I will be reviewing Diamine Silver Fox which was part of their Anniversary Edition inks. This ink is dear to me as it was one of the very first grey inks I tried from Goulet! I eventually settled on Pilot Kiri-Same, but wanted to give Silver Fox a proper review on my blog.

Swabs:

Silver Fox had medium shading and no sheen. This is a flat, cool-leaning silver.

This ink had a quicker dry time at 20 seconds and medium water resistance.

Diamine Silver Fox had average saturation and flow.

Overall: I think this is a perfect grey ink for all situations. I’ve found that Diamine inks are well-behaved, and the subtle gray is perfect for class and the office. The color reminds me of the moon at night over water.
