Swabs:
Thunderbolt is a ballpoint blue with medium shading and red sheen. It is a bit warmer than Pilot Iroshizuku Asa Gao.

Overall: Diamine Thunderbolt is a royal blue with subtle sheen.

A beautiful blue. It's nice to see it compared to Taccia Ao and Irohizuku Asa-gao, both of which I write with. How does it compare to Diamine Blue Velvet?

Diamine Thunderbolt is more vivid than Diamine Blue Velvet, it's very "in your face". Both are beautiful blues. Thanks for your comment!
