Ink Review #270: Diamine Bilberry

 

Today’s post features Diamine Bilberry, a dark purple. Bilberries are European blueberries. 

Swabs: 


This ink had low shading and high sheen. The shading was interesting—although low, it varies intensely from bright blue-purple to dark purple.

Dry Time/Water Resistance:

This ink had a long dry time of 45 seconds and low/medium water resistance.

Writing Sample: 

Tomoe River Paper 52 gsm

This ink had a wet flow.

Overall: Bilberry is a dark purple with copper sheen.
