Today's post centers on Sailor Studio 530. This is a pleasant purple-red.
Swabs:
This pen had a quick dry time, high shading, and no sheen. The color is a dark brick red with brown and purple tones.

This ink was well-behaved and easy to read. The flow is lubricated and not overly wet. In fact, I felt that this sample was on the dry side compared to its Sailor Studio companions.
Overall: This is an austere brownish red.
